Blood serum as an adhesive for paraffin sections

Abstract
|
|
|
Human and other mammalian blood serum can be used as a good adhesive for paraffin sections. Formula is as follows:
Fresh blood serum 10c. c.
10% neutral formalin solution I c. c.
distilled water 2 C. C.
Paraffin sections are less subject to loosening. after its use.
It is preferable to Mayer´s albumen-glycerol mixture and other adhesives becauseit is easily, obtainable and. can be quickly prepared in the laboratory.
